I think Paquiaos recent success has a lot to do with PERFECT matchmaking. Oscar and Hatton were both on the slide. Especially Hatton whos punch resistance has gotten worse and worse since he fought Tsyzu. He has been visibly hurt in each of his fights since Tsyzu. I beleive if Paquiao faces a real, and in his prime 140-147 pounder he will get a real education on the importance of size. Paquiao is definitely a great fighter, but this generations Armstrong? No freaking way. Armstrong the real 126-135-147 pound champ, and held the titles simultaneously. The has a draw with the middleweight champ.

I agree with you. Hatton was only laid out on the floor for only a good 10 minutes.:|

I am a hatton fan as many people no on this site but I was just gobsmaked of how much power pac has got.:goodIf he gets anybody with that shot I don't care if its floyd, mosely or cotto you will be going down.:bbb

I knew he would beat Hatton, but, I didn't know he would do it so early. U can't diss a great fighter when u see one.

Perfect matchmaking?, only a while ago people were laughing and insulting Pacquiao for taking on DLH, a DLH everyone expected to toy with Pac, carry him a bit and then knock him out cold within 3 rounds to 5 at most. Now that he succeeded it's "perfect matchmaking"?, enough of the ridiculous excuses with Pacquiao please, the man won fair and square. Even against Hatton, despite being the favorite their were MANY who thought he might lose with serious arguments to back it up.

Every fight Pac takes is a risky one and a fight he could lose in. Even his future plans have DANGER written all over it with possible fights with Mosley, Cotto and Mayweather/Marquez winner.

Saying his success is because of perfect matchmaking is like a nice way of saying he's a fraud. :patsch

Why cant you accept the fact , Pacquiao is not an overrated fighter, hes just an very special fighter, and his win against Hatton was a good one, i expected him to win but in a very hard fight , he wasn't supposed to win in this way , thats what defines him as a Great fighter. IMO

good post scar....pac just absolutely housed the ring mag lww champ in his first fight at that weight. im not going to sit here and tell you i saw that coming b/c im still in shock actually. all i know is that he deserves much respect for what he's done.

there's an old saying that if you find yourself getting kicked in the ass...its b/c your out in front. people can try to diminish what pac has done...what can u do...
