    Has Ramirez ever fought anyone taller than himself? Only guy 6 feet tall I see in his record is Lorenzo, who actually looks much smaller than him during their fight on camera.
    Vlasov has faced stiffer competition and has just a questionable loss in his record, also he is taller than Ramirez. Only question is: how Vlasov performs against southpaws?

    Ramirez style is very much based on reach, but this time he won't be able to bomb away without repercussions.

    He hasn't faced too many southpaws but when he does he has he seems to have success with them

    Vlasov stopped the Namibian Vikapita Meroro in a round. Meroro lasted into the sixth against Kudryshov 2 fights ago and he quit in round 5 last time out against the South African Kevin Lerana. Apparently, Meroro, who is a spoiler, held a lot in that fight and then quit when in no real danger. Another quit job here against Vlasov?

    Vlasov vs Gilberto Ramirez was fought at altitude and HBO's translator did mention that Vlasov had been complaining to his cornerman in between rounds about not being able to breathe.

    'The Colorado altitude appeared to get to Maxim Vlasov, 30-2 (15), as he struggled with maintaining his energy as his bout with Gilberto Ramirez, 31-0 (24), progressed but it was a workman-like professional win for Ramirez who looked consistent and solid throughout the fight especially when it came to great body work. There are a lot of great options for this super middleweight star who is on the cusp of some big things. In their post-fight wrap-up, Lampley said he would be “looking forward to the next time we see Ramirez in the ring again.”

    Vlasov vs Chilemba was razor-close and could've gone either way IMO.
