It looks stunning, I'd love to live in Russia, I'm a total Russophile obviously, I have been since I saw Reds, Zhivago, Rocky 4 and Red Heat as a child.:D But I have a feeling being someone from Florida, reality would bite me in the ass very quickly, in the form of frostbite in all likelihood. And I'd bail in no time.

Yes me too, it looks so serene and peaceful.

The Florida heat and humidity would be just as big a problem for me lol

Have you see this documentary by Herzog?

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1683876/

It's an abridged version of a much longer documentary which is on YT in 4 parts (Happy People)

This trapper is Kudryashov's father lol (J/K)

Depending on where you live Florida is tolerable as far as humidity goes, Miami there's a constant breeze from the ocean, the West Coast and Central Florida is muggy as **** though.

I actually have a copy of Happy People but have never gotten around to watching it, I fast forwarded through it a while back and never got around to it, I forgot I had it.

And yeah, that guy does look a hell of a lot like Dmitry.

I'll just wait till it's hurricane season to move over there

It's good, the Herzog version that is. I'm sure the longer one is too but it's almost 4 hours long lol. If you check the 1:02:30 part of the 'Happy people a year taiga Werner Herzog & Dmitry Vasyukov' version on YT, Kudryashov's old man recounts an encounter he had with a bear that wandered into his village and killed one of his dogs. The trappers have a really close bond with their dogs.

Vlasov has been in beast mode since dropping that decision to Ramirez, he just picked up his biggest win against Durodola, he beat him into submission, forcing his corner to pull him out in the 11th.
