Imo these origin coaches can't do much when they only have a week or so to deal with their squad before games. Lets see Mal coach a club side week in week out and see how good he is.

In short Jet, I think it was a slight designed to rattle the side and a cheap one at that. As you said, every single side has assistant coaches. A family friend was involved with the Qld side up until very recently in a close capacity. He said Meninga leaves absolutely no stone unturned in preparing his side. He was extremely impressed how well he makes sure everything runs like clock work. His record with an aging Canberra side was still above 50% I think.

Or you could look at it that he has half the year to prepare each time and appears to do it well.

    Tool.
Why?! Because if the judiciary were going to conspire against Queensland, they would have done so the week earlier when they had thurston, their play maker and best half bq k in the world facing trial, not some benchie that mal only played for 30 minutes during the first 2 games of origin.

Dave was suspended because the judiciary didn't want to be made to look like clowns 2 weeks in a row, and after they had their pants pulled down after the thurston case, they were always going to stand firm and defEnd their credibility with the next case.

he is venting after the years of **** QLD have put up with by the people that run the game. the reason QLD are so passionate and fired up at origin time is due to that. he is saying it how it is and always has been... anyway, 6-0.....

queensland and the broncos and cowboys should just feel lucky they are in nswrl comp, its our comp even though its changed names a few times.

Dave Taylor should be suspended for not realising how big and fast he is, bloke must have small man syndrome. Could you imagine if Taylor took the ball up like Martin Lang, he'd be the leading tryscorer

dave taylor has a bad judicary record over the past 2-3 seasons, he knew as soon as he was put on report next he would be out. same would of happened to uate if he had a record anything like taylors. mal is just being typical mal and finding something to winge about.

Dave Taylor's carry over points was what landed him the 5 weeks. If he was clean, then he would have only landed 1 week with the early guilty plea, and the reason why his was deemed a grade 2, rather than a grade 1, like Uate's, is because the guy Taylor tackled fell on his head.

Theres holes in the juducuary, and the system is wrong, as I believe they should punish intent more, and Uate's tackle seemed to have the more intent there.

Still, it's laughable, yet so ****ing typical that Queenslanders are bringing out the conspiracy card.

Letting the worlds best 7 go, yet pinning a bench player they didnt even pick in game 1 is all one big conspired plan to stick it to Queensland.

People tend to forget that it was the Broncs who requested the Taylor tackle be looked at. As far as Mal goes I reckon he's a legend of the game & a great origin coach. 6-0 speaks for itself. He certainly knwos how to get the best out of the star players like Inglis, who does **** all on club level.

    And the other thing....

Whilst the nsw media were giving accolades to neil henry whilst mal was getting a back hander....i remember not long ago they were putting the boot in to henry at nth qld and saying he had lost the confidence of his players. They look to be travelling ok now.

The media are a pack of parasites.
