he'll need somebody to read him his Last Rites. Because, truth be told, his career ends that night. Mile High Mike Alvarado will inflict permanent damage upon Paulie.

The facts are clear. Malignaggi is shot. He is being thrown to the wolves, it is nothing but trouble having him face a young guy with power at this stage. He should be restricted to fighting guys like Devon Alexander at this point, guys that he could box with and face no risk of damage. Paulie's reflexes are noticeably slower. He's damaged goods.

I expect Alvarado to severely punish this guy to the point that all future boxing broadcasts in America may be banned due to the absolute graphic and horrific violence we will witness.

Please, put your children to bed before this fight begins.

That's awful nice of Paulie to take this fight. Volunteering to be the springboard for Alvarado's career. What a nice guy. Surely he doesn't think his feather fists will bother Alvarado and actually win him a decision? Little Mac is gonna get pounded.

Nobody can ever say Paulie doesn't take the tough fights though.

i was fortunate to watch him develop on Telefutura the past couple years. I'm not sure where you can find the fights but he's been a very active fighter and while he has deficiencies, moreso on the defensive side, the broke down version of Malignaggi he will face will be ripe for Alvarado's aggression.

Just like he did to Fatton right. Alvarado is the real deal and I havent seen so much power from a prospect since Miguel Cotto. Poor Jersey Boy hes gonna get his weave messed up. He should have taken on Khanvas Khan atleast he has a punchers chance against Amir.

Pros- Good power in both hands, highly aggressive but with the ability to be more than just a come forward brawler, has tremendous hooks specifically when he goes to the body with it.

Cons- Doesn't have good speed, Can be frustrated and struggles to cut off the ring against fighters who move well, Tends to shut down if he has success early.

If you want a pseudo comparison, It'd be Miguel Cotto at LWW minus the chin issues.
