Im not so sure Paulie would do a great deal better against Hatton 2nd time round, Paulie had close (in some opinions contraversial decisions) over L Ndou rematch and Ngoudjo before Hatton easily beat him. Maybe Paulie had a real off night but with those 2 previous fights before hand in mind I dont think the result would be much different. Hatton is a rough dirty fighter where people say he only wins fights in the U.K. with his tactics but he does have wins in America where alot of his critics come from with wins over Castillo, Collazo, IBF champ Urango and the already mentioned Malignaggi so must have done some things right. Its not a style I like to watch but bar the very 2 top P4P fighters, no one else has found away to contain him and the Maywheather loss was at WW not LWW where the fight with Malignaggi would happen
Paulie doesn't do well against guyd that can bully him and are physically stronger than him if you don't believe me look at the Cotto and Hatton fights.
It all comes down to what version of Hatton we get. He's coming off the most brutal loss of his career that could of changed him, while Paulie is coming off a solid win. If Hatton is a changed fighter for the worse and Paulie puts his track shoes on popping that jab he can avenge that earlier loss to Hatton. The only thing I see going for Hatton in a worst case scenerio where he might not be the same fighter is if he keeps the pressure of Paulie and doesn't keep it in the center of the ring. Even tho Diaz got owned by Paulie, Paulie still has that habit of getting lured into exchanges and while he has great footwork, he likes to keep his hands low and light hitting Diaz was able to connect of Paulie very cleanly. If Hatton vs. Malignaggi II doesn't happen, it'd be interesting to see what Judah really has left against either one of them.
