the term is somewhat funny but a little true. most people almost always doubt pac but always proves them wrong. now after proving them wrong, these same people will always finds an excuse so that they may feel good about their error.

now pac, even if he don't have a single fight at the weight yet, is now a slight favorite over hatton who is well-settled and the king at 140. this is just because people are now respecting pac's accomplishment more. if he didn't demolished oscar, people would probably put hatton as the heavy favorite for this fight.

I don't "hate" Pac or think that he hasn't had an amazing career but I just question his last 2 fights and how much those wins showed us of what he's capable of against a top 140lb fighter.

Guess we'll see on May 2nd.....

Jeez, get that chip off your shoulder, I havn't "blamed" Pac for those fights in any of my posts. All I've done is question how much those 2 results tell us about Pacs capabilites at 140.

Both wins were impressive performances by Pac but seeing as we're discussing the upcomming Hatton fight at 140lbs its perfectly valid to ask how much a win over a poor lightweight champ and a stuggling Oscar means when assessing Pacs resume above 130lbs.

Funny how things have changed... If you talk about Hatton-Pac match up a year ago it's a mismatch. People who picked pac over hatton were called delusional...

But now majority of the boxing experts and polls says pac is gonna win!

They've changed their minds largely based on the Diaz and Oscar fights presumeably.

Yes, I know! You are not a hater! If you will scrutinize what he has been through.. probably you'll be impressed.

Hatton himself has a good career! I have high respects with Hatton that is why i think Hatton is actually should be the one favored to win mainly because He never lost at 140lbs category!

When looking at those wins and talking about the Hatton fight doesn't really matter if they are good performances for a guy who started at 108. What matters is where Pac is now and thats at 140 with "only" those two wins above 130.

Pac may well be just as impressive at 140 as he was for the Diaz and Oscar fights but he won't have it as easy as he did for those fights either. Thats my point, the lack of fights against top fighters above 130 is the question mark on Pac, not the quality of the 2 performances he put in.

Yep, I've done a little reading and the guy has certainly come a long way in life yet still seems pretty grounded.

Generally speaking, I noticed that Hatton fans easier to deal with than xxx boxing fans. I don't want to name names coz I'll get into some arguements at this time. I don't feel like argueing at the moment.

I've been to UK once way back in 2002! Great country but too expensive to regular filipinos traveling to UK.

    Cheers!

Why the **** is everyone getting up in arms over who picked who to win a pretty evenly matched fight? It's daft!

Cheers! I don't think you need to pull down a fighter just because he's fighting a guy you like. I've always rated Pac and I didn't stop rating him just because he signed to fight Hatton.

I think theres every chance his movement and southpaw style could get him the win against Hatton but I also think that despite the Diaz and Oscar wins, weight is still a big unanswered question in this fight from Pacs point of view and that Hatton could be too strong and aggressive for him.

That what makes it a great fight.

  15. These pac-tards are crazy.

If you even question there hero, It's like youv'e just pissed on their kids on christmas day.
