Malignaggi didn't really lose yesterday

    I'm not a fan of Paulie...cuz to be totally honest...I'm not big on queers haha...however he won that fight

    He never blamed HBO or said anything about the network, all he did was to blame the way of politics and scoring, which is exactly what people find disgusting in our sport, but which is unrelated to HBO. What HBO does is putting down money for fights, and if HBO puts down money for Malignaggi, promoters will have to deal with Malignaggi.

    No harm was done towards the network, quite the opposite: whatever creates controversy and headlines potentially rasises ratings, therefore Malignaggi is in a better position than before, now that he put on an exciting, winning performance, got screwd but spoke out the "truth" people wanted to hear. If people would like to see Malignaggi again - and after this I believe they would - HBO will make that happen before Showtime does.

    i thik this fight will do wonders for both guys carears, diaz in the books goes down as the winner....malignaggi won by most accounts of the viewers and fans.....both guys won in terms of their carears

    Oscar tried to distance himself from the homecooking decision but Golden Boy promotion influence over the boxing association they paid all the fees and salaries definetely a black eye for boxing regardless the outcome of the fight.
