Nonsense. Name one major English city that is more then 10% non-white. In America, all large US cities have a majority non-white population.

Correct figure for the USA is around 75% then, according to the 2006 census.

 

Manchester - 81% white
London - 70% white
Leicester - 62% white
Nottingham - 82% white
Birmingham - 68% white
Bristol 89% white

US census counts North africans, Middle easterners and some Latino's as white.

Non-hispanic/non-middle eastern white = 66%.

 

Yes, so if you're using the 90% figure for the UK, you need to include all those people in the US number as well, or you're not making a like for like comparison.

 

The USA is still pretty much using the 19 century racial classification method. Meaning, black, white, chinese other lol.

A british friend of mine says that your job applications are more detailed. Such as, Nigerian-British, Black-British, white-British, white -other, Indian-British, Syrian British ect.

Not very detailed, so your census is probably far more detailed then ours. As to why Latino's and Arabs get put in the white category. I doubt that happens in the British one.

 

Arabs go under 'other' actually I think. Latinos = white other.

 

I don't really like Paulie, but saying he gonna get his ass busted by Hatton might be a bit of a stretch... if he fights anywhere near the level he did against Cotto, don't expect him to lose. He may not have much KO power, but he definitely can take some punishment.
