He talks about how boxing is corrupt because of the descision yesterday but Paulie has recieved gift descisions before too. Paulie recieved controversial descisions when he defeated Herman ngoudjo and L'vmore N'Dou. It works both ways Paulie.
It sure does work both ways but the cards shouldn't be so damn crooked. The best solution would be that none of the robberies occur and boxing gains credibility back. 2 wrongs don't make it right.
I've mentioned that in some other thread.. I have a lot of respect for his honesty yesterday, but would he be as honest if a big money fight is on the horizon for him and he gets a gift decision ? I didn't see the N'Dou fight but against Ngoudgo, he sure was given a gift if we look at the scorecards......It did seem that night there was no way Ngoudgo could win without a KO.... The agenda did serve Malignaggi that night !
he's not exactly complaining about the loss, as he said he needs to go and watch the tapes. He's complaining because no matter how well he did he simply wasn't going to win. He even called the judge out on it and this didn't work as he recieved a good hard slap to the face from that judge. The judge obviously had it in for him and nobody could do anything about the 110 - 118 (apart from a knock out which was never going to happen)
The N'dou rematch was close but not even close to a robbery. I remember watchin that was a clear paulie win !
No he is not a hypocrite. He is just expressing his dissappointment. The 118-110 score was really questionable. Nobody can ever prove corruption so I'll just call it FLAWED. :deal
too right. especially the herman ngoudjo fight, that was one of the worst robberies i've seen, i don't remember any oohs and aahs, rantings, endless threads and calling boxing "bull****" after that fight. paulie got the right amount of opportunies and made the money that his talent deserved.
