    there was a guy that did fights in the 50s and 60s that was the best, but i don't know his name.

    very intelligent and good at articulation, he knows the game but has his opinions like the rest but I enjoy his comments and observations

    Ill take Al Bernstein. But Paulie is very good, especially at the technical stuff.

    Merchant I just don't see. Always seems like hes had a 12 pack.

    Paulie is by far the best modern commentator, tarver is his only rival.
    Sho is miles better than hbhomo

    Tarver was great. Probably better than Paul but not by much (IMO).

    no, Malignaggi is good but his voice is squeaky annoying... "Dont brag about my sidepiece, dont brag about my sidepiece"

    That would be Don Dunphy. He did the blow by blow commentary. Of course, he came out of radio, where they actually had to describe what was happening. So those guys were very good. He actually was still working in the 1980's. He did the bow by blow for Leonard-Hearns I (Larry Merchant did the color commentary). He also was the commentator for the fights in Raging Bull. A legend.
