While I doubt Khan will be the one to beat Floyd, his hand speed would make things interesting. For a while, he would probably pose more of a threat than most of Floyd's recent opponents (save maybe Alvarez).

Pacquiao has looked a little shopworn for more than a while now and so it's no surprise that other, younger fighters are being considered the greater threat to Mayweather. It's even less of a surprise that the never backward in coming forward, Malignaggi, would raise the possibility.

When Khan is discussed as a possible Mayweather opponent, the first to bash the matchup are hardcore Mayweather fans. Mayweather fans being nervous should tell anyone Khan is a style matchup nightmare for an aging fighter like Mayweather jr.
