Malignaggi may not have any power but he has one hell of a chin...

    malignaggi has fought some of the top fighters such as cotto, hatton, diaz. he can take a good shot to the chin. i dont think i have seen him hurt really bad although he did get beat up by cotto pretty bad but he still continued fighting like a champ.
    hatton also hit him too with some good shots but i think malignaggi could have continued the fight if the ref didnt stop the fight.
    and the diaz fight, well basically malignaggi got robbed.

    i have to give malignaggi a lot of respect, this guy is a warrior.

    i hope he rematches diaz in nyc and gets the win.

    I do't think nobody disputes that.His chin and heart are there.

    Hopefully he gets another tv fight in a more appropiate acomodations.

    hes got a good chin...its not like hes been cracked by some ferocious hitters....and with his defensive skills he doesnt get hit square a whole lot.....lets not get him in the same class as holyfield just yet

    Who's even remotely making such a comparison? Talk about coming out of left field.

    But yes, Paulie does have a nice beard. He was eating some real head spinning shots from Diaz. Regardless of what you think of Diaz's power, a shot that's snapping your head around like that has some solid power behind it.

    Good chin, he got buzzed in the 2nd by Hatton and recovered well.

    the thread starter. " one hell of a chin" makes it seem like hes taking solid bombs off it from a randall bailey type hitter....
    but yeah, even though diaz has a low KO% , his punches seemed very hard and snapping....with speed comes power....

    If he even had slightly more power he would of stopped Hatton.

    Man he was landing left hooks at will on him.


    He's a good fighter, love his heart, don't like his attitude.

    His chin's good. But if he didnt hold on to Hatton's waist he would've been down at least once.

    He impressed the hell out of me in his loss to Cotto. Heart and Chin are two thing Paulie has in spades. The way his left hook was landing on Hatton...is he could punch through a wet paper sack he might have beaten him.

    Cotto is definitely a ferocious hitter. at 140-147 who hits harder? I cant think of anyone active.

    cotto is a wear you down kind knock out guy....not a one punch stiffen your legs.....randal bailey is the hardest hitter right now at 140

    If you think He hold with Hatton see the final 3 rounds of the Cotto's fight. He hugs for dear life becasue He was getting spanked really bad in those rounds, if not for the hug He would had been stopped.
