"Danny is a solid world class fighter and hes a big 140 pounder so I expected him to eventually move up to the welterweight division . I have a lot of respect for him . So yeah if the money is there . Im not arguing with Danny and his father . So don't expect that . I have a lot of respect for them . Its an interesting fight at 147 . - Paulie Malignaggi

Garcia should be embarrassed of himself picking on the "77th ranked lightweight of the world " (Only 3 knockouts )

He had the nerve to say " Im all about fighting the best fighters "

I was just looking at the TV shaking my damn head .

Danny deserves to get his ass WHOOPED .

Im just not feeling Danny Garcia at all , I just don't....

I truly hope Malignaggi is his first fight at 147 .

Paulie has the PERFECT style to embarrass this kid and clown him over 12 rounds .

We all know Danny aint knocking out The Magic man . That just not going to happen . That left hook ain't touching Paulie either .

That should make for a solid debut at 147 if that indeed is the plan.

Of course he's interested, all he's got to do is run around and survive for 12rds. and then cry robbery after, seems to be the accepted tactic lately.

His footspeed is underrated and throws his left hook in very awkward timings

Once that left hook connects, Malignaggi is going to sleep. :deal

    So do I .

    Its all about styles .

Paulie would see that hook coming from a mile away , Garcia will be frustrated as hell and get outboxed from the opening bell. Malignaggi knows him all too well by now .

    :patsch

How is he having a bad year?

    700k in earnings (Excluding taxes)

And another big fight coming up maybe in Dec.

    He's having a good year.

I disagree, and I'm a fan. He lost his last fight, and lost fans. Fought Rod Salka, and lost more fans. He won 700k but he's losing respect. I think he just under estimated Herrera and needed a confidence booster.

He won a very close fight in my book and I watched it without commentary....and a lot of people agree with that

It was a very close one but maybe it could have been either way

His star power continues to grow.

The press are writing about him, everyone is talking about him

    Just give it time.

Once he gets that huge fight, people will watch. DSG is a Puerto Rico/American product that can blow up big. :deal

garcia is fast if your standing in front of him but he doesnt get around the ring that well, garcia couldt keep up with khan when he was throwing 5-6 punches in the beginning, paulie would just stick to the jab and fight a slower pace than khan lessing the chance to get caught, plus hes a bit sturdier than khan too if he did, garica could easily beat him but i think its a good match for paulie

I agree but not too sure about that Herrera fight. Initially, I scored it for Garcia but I thought I was being biased. I haven't rescored it objectively yet. A lot of tough rounds to score.
