I would rather see Paq-Hatton. Malignaggi is a good fighter but Ricky owned him.

    Pacquiao in about nine rounds.

Paulie seemed to have perfected the art of hanging on for dear life and ducking below the belt from the 2nd round of the Hatton fight.

Otherwise, it would have been over in the 3rd or 4th. A Pac fight would probably be similar.

I actually wish, I hadn't watched that fight. Total waste of time.

    Paulie by KO by default..

Pacman will be too scared to show at fight time.

Keep in mind that in the last 2 years Malignaggi has been my favorite fighter to follow:

and even I say let him get his feet planted again... let him remember what it is like to get a win (Whether or not you back him on his fighting style/ strengths-weaknesses) before putting him in there with the Pacs and the Cottos again....

His entire problem from the get-go was that he was rushed into bigger fights than he was ready for. Miguel Cotto after a 6month lay off... Hatton after only 2 title defenses.

Malignaggi - i think can make it close on points if not steal the show when his head is right... but his head may never be right again after what he said after the Hatton fight. Now- he wasn't hurt but was mentally afraid to let go with the right. Does he have the best of his career behind him? We'll see... I for one think he can still hold a title/ titles and possibly even unify at 140. I also think if he is right in the head, he can beat Hatton and even Pacqiao. At the very least he can hold 1 or multiple belts at 140.

Without the mental disadvantage : Paulie by decision vs Pac.

Malignaggi can't and never will beat either Hatton or Pacquiao.

Having a bit of speed and a jab isn't enough to beat elite guys like Ricky or Manny. He has no variation to his left hand, just the jab, and no right hand at all.

He doesn't have the power to keep them off him, they walk straight through his punches without even blinking, and wear him down to a stoppage or easy UD win.
