Tough guy "talk"?????????????????????????? The guy is one opf the toughest guys out there lacing up gloves! Have you seen the Cotto fight? He went 12 rounds with a prime Cotto, when he had broken jaw for most of the fight! The guys never quit or been KO'd. He got savage beatings from Khan and Hatton, yet he kept coming. It isnt a f'in act! He IS tough!
Exactly. Not to mention by the time the fight happens, all broner will be able to hear in his head is malinaggis voice. Plus Paulies chin is proven solid. Broners power may not even carry, and if he bulks up it will effect his speed. Broner is quick, but still not even immensely fast.
Wherever you got those heights. They're wrong. Ive seen them beside each other. Paulies taller. At least an inch
The heights are right, Paulie is 5'8'' 1/2 and Broner is 5'7'', but Broner has a 1 inch reach advantage. So what are you talking about? ON top of that Broner is significantly thickers and wider in frame.
I read it wrong. Fine. Also Im not too sure about thicker either. He looks hige fighting De Marco etc. I remember Paulie saying in an interview once, he walks around 165-170. So lets wait and see until they're in the ring.
And what exactly makes you think that Broner is so good that he can go up and dominate a WW title holder.Paper or nor?? Because he beat a couple of LW's? I dont know many guys who could struggle with DPL and go up and beat a ranked WW within 2 years. DPL is fighting for the FEATHERWEIGHT title next!
This. Broner has had the hbo hype machine behind him. And because he tries to copy Floyd. Nothing he does in the ring is outstanding.
Easy his skill level lets me believe he can go up to WW and dominate a paper titlist like Paulie. I don't know many people who struggle with N'dou and Herman Ngoudjo who then go up and win a paper title at 147 against Senchenko and then steal a fight from a fringe 140 contender like Cano and only win because of home town scoring, except Paulie that is. How about this, how about a fighter at 140 whose career defining fights are 1 sided beat downs and best win on his resume is against Juan Diaz, a blown up lightweight. Like I said before, there is nothing about Paulie's career or style that leads me to believe he will even be competitive against Broner. There is a reason Paulie fights the Hattons and Senchenkos of 147 instead of the Maindanas , Bradleys, Mike Jones, Alexanders, Bertos, and Ortizs or 147.
