Doubt Ricky Hatton nor Cotto at 140 would beat Broner if he went to 140 and faced them, especially the versions Paulie faced.

Doubt Broner would struggle with Ngoudjo and N'dou either.
Doubt Broner would have been knocked down or needed to steal a fight from Pablo Cano either.

Cotto was 26-0 and only 25 when Paulie fought him.

That Cotto straight murders this Broner.

Hatton too was at or near prime.

Just because he was outboxed by Floyd Mayweather at 147 doesnt mean he was past prime.

I also highly doubt that Paulie would struggle with a featherweight like PDL.

Cotto was starting to show the effects of draning to stay in 140 by the time he fought Paulie, Broner's defense, body work, countering ability, and power would have Kneeguel trying to box off the back foot and most likely taking a knee on the way to a stoppage. The Cotto Paulie fought gets KO'd.

The Hatton Paulie fought was the one who just got KO'd by Floyd and was actually KO'd by Juan Lazcano if not for the hometown reffing.

Broner KO's him terribly in the mid rounds. **** Broner would destroy any version of Hatton though.

Why aren't we talking about at featherweight, that is the weight class PDL fights in.

If PDL fought at 140 we could use that, but the only way Paulie could fight PDL is if he fought him at feather and seeing that he has never been below lightweight I figure we would die from making the weight and then be ko'd.

At featherweight Broner struggled with PDL, he struggled with his style and he was relatively green. Now is Broner the same fighter now as he was then? Nope the Demarco fight showed us that.

Cotto was okay at 140, never fought the top guys at 140 though so it is hard to rate him highly we he was fighting the Torres, Malinaggis, and Urkal's of the world instead of Floyd or even Hatton. Cotto was always protected as a fighter and that chin was real weak at 140 at the time Paulie fought him.

Yep Broner would beat Hatton faster than floyd, because he would go right at him instead of sitting back and setting traps and countering. Broner has the slick style but primarily fights as a come forward power puncher. If Lazcano had him down and out except for the refs help Broner would have him asleep on the canvas. Sounds to me like Broner was telling other people who follow him that it isn't serious.

 

Broner is not following the routine here.

1. Both fighters teams curse, mock and ridicule each other to hype the fight.
2. Both fighters fight in the ring, collect pay cheques.
3. Both fighters shake hands and say it was not serious and just a laugh to hype the fight.

In this case, Broner is already trying to shake hands because he got his ass ripped by Paulie in the twitter war. Deep down inside Broner is twitching, and Paulie is laughing. We have all had internet beefs, we know the deal here.
