Paulie was doing the commentary for British TV, they were laughing during the fight about how wide the American media beside them had it for Kovalev.

Both Paulie and Matthew Maclin scored it for Ward.

 

i had the mainevent commentators and HOLY **** a dominant ward round would finish and theyd say "i had it for kova but it was close, wards might still have a chance" me and my mate are looking at eachother thinking "these ****ers must have seen the knockdown and thought he is in survival mode when he completely switched up the fight from rd 4 onwards.

weather you like paulie or not i think we can all safely say the guy dont talk no ****, calls it like it is and is always honest thats why when i hear him say "i had kova winning the fight going in but after thought ward took it from him" i believe him

 

Paulie is always good calling the fights.

What did BHOP say about this fight? was he on HBO?

 

Paulie is babbling, as usual.

Judging from what he is saying he is empathising with the feather fister taking on the killer because of course, he was a feather fister himself.

If there's one side Paulie is always on, it's his own.

 

To Malignaggi I would say he should replay what he just babbled. He pretty much is saying Ward was masterful because he didn't get krushed by the Krusher.

Pretty much is giving Ward major props for hanging in there after getting dropped. LOL!

 

PLENTY of fighters AND analyst who are better than Paulie are saying Kovalev won. Fans on Polls are saying Kovalev won. Ward got a GIFT decision. And that's how this fight will go down in history

I never listen to either Paulie or Fight Hype. Both are pretty much instantly dismissed by me.

That said, my feeling in the past is that Paulie is very pro-American in his takes.

 

I've never known paulie to be biased. Even when a guy dominates and beats him, he doesn't show bias against that fighter when commentating on his fights. Now people are saying that white judges in amerika are racist against a white fighter. It's really some of the dumbest **** I've ever heard in my life. If i didn't see the fight for myself, I would have swore that Ward was stomped out and almost stopped in every round from reading these butt hurt comments.

 

He may be biased, but at least he's honest and that is why I prefer him to pretty much every pundit. I'd rather have a guy that won't BS me and be wrong about something he says than a guy I can't trust at all.

He can call a fight while he's on the mic, but god damn, don't ask him to give his opinion on it before or after it, because he turns into the fanboy he really is at heart.
