Paulie has a real good shot at beating Hatton...

He's got a great style match-up with Hatton, and even though he lacks power, he did have enough to slow Cotto down and shake him a couple of times (even after his face was broken).

Paulie has unbelievable heart, confidence, smooth and quick style. Paulie would make it a tough competitive fight, and I could see him taking Hatton on decision.

Besides, we all know what sometimes happens to undefeated fighters who get laid out like Hatton did...they're not the same after it.

I could see Paulie giving Ricky a difficult time b/c of his speed and movement. We all know Ricky doesnt deal well with speed and movement. Kosta was more of a boxer/puncher whereas Paulie is a pure boxer who will give ricky problems.

Ricky has no boxing ability what so ever. He is dumb as **** in the ring also. Who keeps coming in straight forward all squared up after they've been caught with the same damn punch a million times.

Also, Ricky will rush in and simply smother his punches. All Paulie would have to do to win this fight is

    A) win the match up at a distance by pot shotting. we all know he could do that to ricky all day.

    B) when ricky does engage with his reckless lunging punches, all he has to do is block the first one and allow ricky to hold as he usually does b/c ricky cant get points for holding.

as soon as they separate, the patten will continue. Paulie easily outboxing him from the outside while Ricky desperately lunges in while smothering his own punches on the inside.

Witter is'nt promoted by Frank Warren he's promoted by Hennesey Promotions, so the fight could be made. Paulie would be an easier option for Hatton, depends where he wants to fight next though in the US or the UK?

Hatton would KO him. People are saying that won't happen because Cotto never KO'd him, but I bet if Paulie and Cotto fought again he would get KO'd. Hatton will be too strong and powerful for him.

Sure, now everybody could handle Hatton's pressure all of a suden. Also all Hatton's fights will look like the one agains PBF. GTFO Paulie's not as strong as Floyd to handle all the wrestling Hatton does. He also hits like a girl and is way more hittable then Mayweather as the fight with Cotto showed. He won't be able to run around and potshot because Ricky will be pushing him into the ropes all night.

I'm not saying all Hatton's fight will resemble the one versus FLoyd. But when have you ever seen Hatton fight a pure slick boxer. The answer is never until this past weekend. We all know that styles make fights and Hatton will do best against people who show little movement. I'm not a big Paulie fan, but I do believe his a slick fighter much like Camacho Sr. but with less power. It wont be a cake walk for hatton at all.

People who are saying Paulie will win, would not have said this last week. One defeat, doesn't make a fighter bad, and one defeat against the best boxer in the world, if anything makes him a better fighter.

I hear ya. I guess we'll have to wait and find out. Also Ricky might not be the same fighter psychologically AND physically. He go beat up in the PBF fight.

Paulie is not Floyd at 147.

    Hatton destroys him.

Paulie is tough but Hatton wears him down. I can even see a stoppage here even though we know Paulie is tough, he would be able to out wrestle hatton nor has he the power to keep him off and I can see Hatton finding a body shot or two that might lead to a late stoppage. Paulie fought a very slow and weight drained Cotto at 140.

Hype. It's good though. shows that the fight will probably come off. It's something that I'm interested in seeing.

  13. Malgianni or however you spell his dumb name, reminds me of a Woman trying to be a Man, with his clown like blue hair, and his boxing trunks which look like a Marylin Monroe dress, and his hair which looks like a Rat, this transgender which has the power of a Strawweight, needs to shut up, Hatton would break his sorry ass in half..

Theres as much chance of him beating Hatton as there is of him knocking anyone half decent out ie none.

Yeah, imagine talking smack in order to coax a better boxer into a fight. What kind of nob-end would do that?

Hatton FEARS Paul "Metrosexual Mauler" Malignaggi.
