Paulie's lack of power combined with Diaz's relentless style and solid chin does not seem to bode well for Malignaggi.... The logical choice seems to be at least a Juan Diaz UD or TKO if he can catch Paulie enough.
I dont know if diaz has the punching power to KO malignaggi. cotto and hatton couldn't do it, diaz won't, and I see Malignaggi snagging early rounds with his boxing ability, but he will be eventually be beaten by diaz's sheer workrate in a UD, maybe even SD. Paulie can box no matter what anyone says, and he's the naturally bigger man, so his jab, although it wont ultimately help destroy diaz like marquez's did, I think it will be effective against diaz
I can't see Paulie winning this fight. Diaz will be too much pressure for him. If Paulie wins I'll be surprised. Not saying he can't but just not likely.
I say Diaz by late stoppage. Malignaggi is no Marquez, he will not have enough power to 'jolt' Diaz the way Marquez did. As long as Diaz can avoid the cuts around the eyes.... I see Diaz cruising to an easy win.
Diaz gets Distracted by a fan eating a bucket of chicken in the front row and paulie scores his 1st ko in 10 years:good
