after watching malignaggi fight ngoudjo,i think his arms are too short for 140lbs.He has good boxing skills but he gives up a significant advantage in reach that enables his opponents to counter him beore he can get away.He is being overrated because of the ndou fight, but remember ndou was old and had lost every fight that ever meant anything.Hatton would destroy malignaggi.

PM is one of the better light welters, but im struggling to get excited about this match, i know HBO want it, but if Malignaggi was from Columbia and Torres was from New York HBO would want that fight, it has nothing to do with how good Paulie really is.

Hatton is too strong for the feather fisted New Yorker, i see him either getting the decision or TKOing him late.

Witter is the only fight that really matters.

    Forget Hatton.
    Malignaggi would get killed.

But the guy he should fight is Amir Khan.
And I think he kicks Khans ass, even thou he sure looked pathetic against
    Herman N.... (whatever).
This Khan is quick, good boxer but cant really fight and hasnt got the best chin.
There trying to build him up.
    Perfect guy for Malignaggi.

Hatton is too strong. Malignaggi's up-jabs are not going to keep Hatton off as Hatton has the footspeed to get inside and make him fight in close. Hatton is most succeptable to counter puncher with good movement who can catch him on the way in. Magee, Collazo, Mayweather, and Junior Witter all fit this billing. Malignaggi, while a pure boxer, does not.

    Hatton UD or late TKO

Paulie managed to stay on his feet with Cotto for 12 rounds - But I see the fight with Hatton finishing up pretty much the same result - Paulie busted up unable to hold off the monstrously strong 140 version of Hatton.

Collazo at the very least deserved a draw IMO - But the knock down got him the win I guess - It was more of a slip and he did hit on the break, but it was a knock down all the same.

Hatton copped a hiding in that last round.

Yes, I would, and I see Hatton winning this fight. Hatton Can match Malignaggi in speed and puts relentless pressure on you.

While Hatton is the draw- you have obviously never seen Paulie in the Garden. While it was still 5-1 ratio for him and cotto that still puts 4000 fans of paulies in the GARDEN. And there are times even on television (let alone there) that you heard PAULIE chants break out over the COTTO oos and aahs! I want to see this fight- As is evident, I'm a Paulie fan, but if he fights like he did against Ngoudjo(which i think he edged out a Squeekyclose decision)he will have an early night weather the fight take place in Manchester, or in NYC.

coming from another Paulie fan, i completetly agree.. He has to fight the way he knows how and he will be able to outbox Hatton.
