Malignaggi vs. Khan: Who ya got?

Paulie can't punch like Prescott. So what is your point? That would only be relevant if he was fighting a big puncher like Maidana.

 

Hasn't Khan been sparring with Pac? I'm sure he's getting better at dealing with heavy-handed fighters, unless he's getting immediately KTFO'd in practice with big gloves and headgear on.

 

Rooting for Malignaggi, no doubt. My head says Khan will win though.

 

I feel the same way. I marvel at these folks who keep calling Paulie limited. Yes, he doesn't have punching power, but lacking pop does not-- at least to my thinking-- relegate a fighter to "limited" status. When I think of limited, I think of guy who, quite simply, hasn't the physical tools to compete at an elite level.

Sure, Paulie lacks one of them, the aforementioned punching power) but he certainly isn't lacking with respect to footwork, handspeed, ring craft et al.
