Hey guys, can't really work out how to do a poll so I might as well just ask. If you saw Malignaggi fighting either of these guys, how would you see it turning out? I admit fighting Khan wouldn't be the most exciting match (it'd probably be better than Hatton vs. Paulie though, because that was a total shitfest in my eyes), but it would definitely be an interesting fight but Paulie definitely wouldn't take it on foreign shores, whether he'd outpoint Khan or not he'd have no chance of winning that, and Khan is naturally the more heavier puncher so the judges would probably score it on his tenacity. So whatever happens, I would probably go with Khan, but Malignaggi's punch output may be a little higher. Fighting Witter is a dream fight for me. Though not many people are fans of Witter, I still really like him and am also a big fan of Malignaggi, so for me this is the fight I want to see. It might not be a barnstormer or hugely exciting, but I'd love to see what would happen. I really couldn't pick one with how Witter fights these days, he is getting on a bit and he is getting plagued with injuries and misfortune, but providing he could keep Malignaggi at bay with his jab and keep his switch hitting to his best, I think he could outpoint him, but no way stop him. Your thoughts?
I think that Khan beats The Magic Man...:yep I think that Khan would jab the head of TMM... as long as he did not get drawn in and have to go looking for him.. I don't think the FR would allow him to do that...:bbb:bbb I think that Witter could have stop TMM a while ago, his slashing awkward style.. but not now.... I always thought back in the day domestically Witter had the beating of Hatton... Hatton would have took the fight, FW would not let him anywhere near Witter...In the end it was easy to see why Hatton would not give him a payday...:yep
It's true though GazOC...:yep I think Witter would have beat him back in the day, would you agree?...:think
Funnily enough mate I don't agree. 2002 Hatton may have been too green but 2004 onwards Hatton would win a wide decision. And no, i don't see Hatton-Mayweather as being any sort of blueprint that Witter could follow...
"Speak up, am I gonna give you a shot?" "I said do you think you can beat me?" "I-I know I can beat ya... I know I can beat ya.... I've got four belts here. But a few more performances like that and you'll bring a bit more to t'table." Oh Hatton, you're such a card.
