I think this fight is ment to be. paulie just proved he can beat diaz and also he deserves the good fights with a bit of a pay day and I think it will make perfect sense. first becuz he's not a knockout puncher and these are the guys frank warren likes and also khan needs to fight paulie becuz paulie just beat diaz. damn if only the decision was right and the gave paulie his win
I feel sorry for Paulie right now , but Khan would give Paulie a boxer a boxing lesson. Paulie would have 3 losses in a row.
well diaz was supossed to outthrow paulie turned out paulie out threw him by 200.....i could def. see khan troubled by the paulie jab.....im curious how khan would handle malignaggi's speed....
Khan outputed nearly 900 punches in his last fight, Khan also has a great jab, double, triple jab. The question is now will Paulie handle Khan's speed?
I have it in the back of my mind that the only thing wrong with paulie before was buddy mcgirt. buh then agen I blame a lot of stuff on that guy cuz i freakin hate him. but i mean you guys must have saw it urself, paulie looked different yesterday and actually worked his gameplan
Bad matchup for Paulie. He doesnt have the power to expose Khan's chin, and Khan is the faster and more athletic guy. When your a quick, feather fisted guy like Paulie and you face a guy who's QUICKER... your pretty much ****ed. Khan easily. Bradley would easily beat Paulie as well. If Paulie wants a good payday, maybe he should fight Zab in NY. But he'd lose that fight as well.
true, but khan would have to come to paulie and when it happens he will eat about 10 jabs, and you cant hit what you cant catch.....paulie would dance all night....i would still favor khan outpointing him but in a close fight..... if i was paulie no way in hell would i go to the UK to fight khan, and vise-versa for khan to go to new york or atlantic city
I think if offered paulie will go to the uk becuz thats the type of fighter he is. he'll fight anyone anywhere. I mean he took on diaz in texas with the texas ranger judges knowing about the crooked decisions
i think they are just as fast as each other, paulie probably has the faster feet and better chin, would be very close fight, maybe even a MD or SD if Paulie doesnt get screwed again
This fight is for DEFINITE a fight i want to see. I can just imagine it, Khan would have to come forward with his hands up unleashing his jabs all while Paulies backing up throwing quick snappy jabs of his own. Speedster VS Slickster, i think Khan would eat quite a few jabs while coming in but i definitely think Khan would take most of the rounds on sheer work rate and quicker hands 116-112, the lads would both be a bit puffy faced after this for certain with all the damn jabs! I dont think it will happen though, Frank Warren doesnt seem to like or be interested in Paulie, i remember when he was asked about Hatton-Pac and he mentioned Hatton will lose and he also said ''forget how he looked against that malignaggi guy cause he didnt look that good when he fought here either''. Frank Warren isnt interested in this fight although its a very good fight for both Amir and Paul, would be a good test of outboxing a slickster for Amir and would get him good expourure both in the U.K and U.S, the u.k fans know Malignaggi from the Hatton fight and Malignaggi is a well known fighter in the U.S, hope it happens!
ok i agree that khan is not a good matchup for paulie cuz khan even faster and paulies probably the only contender that wouldnt even have a punchers chance.Paulie has more experience and a good jab but khan has all of the other advantages. He would have a better chance against bombers, the urango, bailey winner against paulie would be better,or against someone like a maidana although those guys are very dangerous, how about oscar letting ortiz redeem himself against paulie?I think ortiz would beat paulie but it would be a very intriguing fight and a crossroads bout.
Id like to see this, everybody knows Khan has a week chin but Malignaggi isnt exactly noted for his punching power. Would be a good fight, hopefully with Amir winning.
