Good fight for Paulie, he's risking becoming a Zab Judah by falling short with every big fight he takes. I really like the guy but he has serious hand problems, probably too serious to have a long title reign.

Nah atleast Malignaggi is ambitious and seems to put in the effort. Zab Judah, supposed to be extremely gifted physically, just does not seem to have the mental aspect.

I bet Warren can't believe his luck. Rees just got thoroughly dominated, schooled, broken down and KO'd systematically by Kotelnik for the WBA title. Next fight he is facing a guy that was (probably wrongly) ranked #2 in the division, and just came off a fight with Ricky Hatton. Very very strange. I think Warren will probably bite their hand off, its not like Rees is a valuable commodity.

Where was the effort in the Hatton fight? He barely threw punches.

Odd, Rees has nothing to lose really nobody is expecting him to win, plus with Paulie he is fighting a guy who is world rated but a bit urpredictable, PM can look both world class and useless..much like Mbaye...

Still think Rees should head down to lightweight, fat lil *******.

this would be an ideal confidence booster for magic man, unless hes still too scared to throw a punch in anger for fear of breaking a hand

  11. That was another bull**** excuse from Paulie, He was trowing his right fine for the first two rounds until he got hit big for the first time, then he went into his shell

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Rees winning a title at 140 is seriously one of the best accomplishments I've seen in boxing in recent years. No disrespect on him whatsoever, I just couldn't believe he was capable of it. If I were in that camp, I couldn't sign him on to face Malignaggi fast enough- even if he loses, he'll get a good payday and the chances of Rees taking real damage isn't all that likely.

Two guys who can't crack an egg. Rees was actually doing fine against Kotelnik until the other shoe dropped. I don't completely count him out here at all.
