Malignaggi was able to land just ONE punch (0.19%) on Amir Khan's chin!

That's about 50% more than Maidana is going to need to land.

 

Tbf Khan has had just as many if not more problems with temple shots during his career than shots to his chin. But yeah his defense def looks much better since he's been at the Wildcard

 

I thought paulie was going to win based on the fact that he is more experienced, but i havent been watching kahn. After the first round I realized I was wrong. Paulie was a great match up for them, he is so used to having the speed advantage and fighting with his hands low that he cant fight with them up. Kahn with his longer reach and slightly better speed beat him to the punch every time. Paulie's only chance was to get real aggressive with him but he didnt do that for the first 5 rounds that I saw and he dont have the power to control him on the inside.

Kahn is still vulnerable to a counter when he over extends his punches and he is leaning forward but you need someone with some decent power to really take advantage

 

I agree.....Amir....not sold on 100% but lets face the facts. The kid is fast, talented and skilled. He has improved under roach A LOT. I'm guessing there will be a lot of talk about what AMIR is taking. Paulie was vocal about Amir being on some PEDs, roids ect.... leading up to their fight. Anyone know what he was saying after the fight? I hope he doesn't start saying Amir won b/c of being roided up.:-(

 

Khan did very good in that fight. He earned my respect with his performance. Paulie is a good name on his resume.
