think his ****ysis is very good, can be pretty fair in his views and doesn't usually favour the home fighter which is a plus for me.

his fighting, not so much lol

Paulie said "in the pocket" that much that I thought he'd got his Matchroom shows mixed up!

Malinaggi is one the best today.

He is levels above what in terms of being good to listen to and knowledge on the sport.

I use to detest the guy but in recent years hes come across quite mature and humble and hes becoming a great pundit.

I aslo like paul smith too

in the first two rounds it was kind of a tussle between paulie and watt. paulie was making great points about whyte keeping his jab going and keeping joshua busy by pumping his jab out. meanwhile watt was saying that whyte should just be going for joshua and trying to land something big and not trying to outbox him. paulie was sticking to his guns and i think he was right. whyte was looking ok when he had his jab going and was being first. as soon as whyte landed the big left hook you hear watt shouting "see thats what i was saying paulie!!! he needs to try to impose himself on this fellow" lol

Watt is probably double malignaggis age and was having pro fights before paulie was born so you can't expect him to yield to paulies points. you can sense a kind of tussle at times as watt will usually be unrelenting in his opinion on a fight even if it's turning out the other way. i think paulie will learn to put up with watt and adjust though. for all his faults, watt is like a piece of old furniture with sentimental value.

That's not what the threads about though is it. Mayweather reads the game like no other but might be a **** commentator.

I liked him, gives good insights etc, would like to see him back

Paulie is all mouth and no action. Why do you think he is fighting in Europe now-it is because he has burned his entertainment bridges here and they only use him as a stepping stone for up and comers.Paulie can't compete any longer in the US and the UK is an ideal place to score some money.

yep i heard that too and its shocking that you would want a guy who has just done such a dangerous thing to get robbed of what he deserves.

I like him ,he is articulate and reads a fight well ,his " Bugs Bunny" accent makes me smile a bit too.A skilful, courageous but light hitting guy who has found a viable alternative to getting punched in the face.:good

Watt's commentary for someone of his experience was dreadful in this fight

Up until Whyte landed his hook that had Joshua reeling in round 2 Watt kept saying ' Its just a matter of time before Joshua wins this, he is in a different class to Whyte - Joshua can deal with Whyte's power but Whyte cant deal with Joshua'

Then when Whyte did land it was only Paulie who first noticed something had happened. Then Watt sort of backtracked and said ' Joshua has never been tested before'
