Ive read online possible fights with Mike Alvarado, Zab Judah, Nate Campbell, & Gavin Rees but nothing has been set. Anyone know when the Magic Man will return? I know Alvarado was suppossed to fight Malignaggi on the Cotto-Jennings undercard but Arum scrapped the fight. Why not make them fight on the Cotto-Clottey undercard??

Malignaggi - Ortiz would be good, Ortiz has a fight penciled in for later in the year though

A fight on the Jennings-Cotto undercard would have been a bit soon after the beating he took in the Hatton fight.Recently in an interview he said the only reason he is not retiring is because of the $$ he can make in boxing that he can't make any other way

I like Malinaggi. He can still be a player at 140. He's got heart and skills i say take a while off an let those hands rest while he's still young.

He has no heart, amigo. He refused to mix it up against Hatton. That's the reason why his handlers requested the referee to stop the fight. What skills are you talking about? Fighting with his jabs? No combos?

keep in mind he only was beaten by a future ATG in Hatton and a very good Cotto..He MAY be a good gatekeeper.

at this point, it's pretty certain that on HBO he will only be approved to fight a young lion like Alvarado or Alexander, along that line of prospect. I doubt Showtime has any interest anymore, either. 140 was a weak division for awhile, he grabbed a belt, 140 is a heck of a division now, he's an also ran.

i think he def beats Alvarado or Alexander. I doubt Lou will put him in with Ortiz. Why not Urango for the IBF title? Maybe Nate Campbell for his first fight at 140 or Zab if he could make junior welterweight anymore would be a big fight in nyc. Paulie def beats Gavin Rees, i heard DiBella might set that up.

There is no shame in losing to two of the best of your era. I think Paulie can still be a player in the deep 140 dividion.

He could make some money by fighting Zab. The are both New Yorkers and it could sell at MSG. I would not mind seeing him fight Rees too.

:rofl funny****, but i will give paulie some respect for fighting the true kings of the division like cotto was at 140 and then hatton later. now that we know for sure he is more mouth than a future hof, i wouldn't mind him facing another mouth like judah or being a stepping stone for nate at 140.
