Maliggnagi got dominated by Hatton. Unless he has radically changed (which he has not, although he has improved his game) Khan will stop him. Im putting 20 quid on a Khan stoppage. I do like Paulie though.
You're right that Paulie has improved, and a lot of that has to do with him changing trainers from Buddy McGirt to Sherif Younan. Younan is a much better fit for Paulie, as he wants Paulie to use his feet first to set up his angles and offense, whereas Buddy wanted Paulie to stand in the pocket (which was a terrible idea against Hatton). I think the fact that Khan is fighting outside of the UK for the first time, in Paulie's backyard at MSG, and has a suspect chin will all work in Paulie's favor (not that Paulie is a power puncher, but he has shown a little pop in his last fight vs Juan Diaz). With all the variables and the styles, I think this is the most intriguing matchup the rest of the month.
I'm excited. Got my tickets, it's my first world-class boxing match at MSG! Amir Khan needs a KO to win, imo, and I don't think he'll be able to do it. But LOL @ Paulie thinking he's gonna knock someone out.
Awsome avatar! As for the vids, that was a pretty good interview. I really do have mixed feelings about Paulie. He talks pretty good and makes interesting points, but then sometimes he can come off as a right *****. I guess he's just one of those guys that's passionate about what he believes in; thus sticking to his guns no matter what. His opinions on himself (and Pacquiao) aside, I'm pretty sure he'd be a cool guy to hang out with. He seems like he can keep a good conversation going forever.
