Malinaggi has legitimate losses to Cotto and Hatton. Recently he got jobbed against Diaz, and corrected that bull**** in his next fight. Boy he must really suckatsch Trust me, if all boxers knew how to hype a fight the way Paulie does, the sports fan base would double.
the hatton thing yh i see ur point, but after pac finished ricky dont u think freddy and warren at the time probably said look amir u and ricky huge ppv fight at wembley, think about it 100,000 ppl, u could make 10million pounds, and weve already got the blueprint to beat this guy. As for the red carpet treatment yh fair enough but thats all down to having a good promoter. Look at john murrays career to that of khan. 3 yrs ago they were seen to be at the same place career wise, and now one of them is fighting at MSG defending his world championship, whereas the other is struggling to find a date to fight.
You called him a tranny ***** that's the most pathetic sniffling little **** in boxing. I don't even understand some of these insults and how they pertain to boxing. ...So did he **** your sister or your mom? ...Or do you suffer from *******ism? Remembering you couldn't give a toss to what I think so why do keep responding?
Irrespective, I think Khan will beat him, and beat him well. What's your thoughts on how that fight will go?
Khans desperate for respect, and he knows he needs to make a statement. Khan doesnt need to worry too much about being hit cause paulie wont hurt him so this means khan can do what hes always been good at, and thats be on the attack. Pre prescott khan was very good on the offensive and his speed is incredible, match that with power and tbh that will trouble paulie. U cant get away from punches u cant see are coming and that i think will stop paulie
If you keep questioning me, I'll keep answering. That's only polite. None of those opinions pertain to boxing, obviously. From what I have seen of Malignaggi in interviews and such like, from what I read about him, I think he is a ****ing ****. I have no idea why my opinion on Paulie Malignaggi has got you so hot and bothered. ...Are you ****ing Paulie in the ass? ...Or is Paulie ****ing you in the ass? Remembering that you think I'm pathetic, so why do you keep responding?
By the way, I favor Khan I do think it's a bad style match-up and I think Khan's team knows this (Mainly Roach). But Paulie is one of my favorite fighters. He's a New Yorker, an Italian-American, and he creates a lot of buzz and excitement by talking and hyping fights up. He doesn't have much power but makes it work the best he can... the guy sometimes smothers and hits in the trenches against strong punchers like Cotto. He's got more toughness than 90% of the boxers in the game.
I'm thinking about periodically. It's difficult to set the Prescott fight aside, and I'm not sure getting caught cold like that is all that meaningful; **** happens.
I was actually responding to another poster. And he's pretty much right. I don't know you long enough from here but your Paulie hate escalated or seemed to come out when Paulie was talking about Manny and steroids. That's at least when I started seeing it. I try to stick to boxing. Paulie talks to hype things. Do you believe that's him, or do you even care and rather just have blind hate? You don't seem to hate Floyd much... you seem to get his act. I don't care what you think, I just found your extreme hate to be pathetic. So let's just keep it at that. I think it's silly, you think what you do and don't care what I think. And I actually stopped responding to your directly... it was you who brought that back up with me.
I think he's vile. He has nothing to do with the Pac-Floyd debate whatsoever, yet he keeps sticking his nose into it purely to drum up publicity for himself. He's a media parasite who would NEVER have the balls to get into the ring with the man he attacks through the press, Pacquiao. I have no respect for media hardmen who slag other fighters off knowing they will never have to share a ring with them. It's pathetic. How did you view Paulie's performance against Hatton then? I thought he was absolutely shite. I viewed it as 50-50 going in. Was blown away by how pish Paulie was. He can talk, but he can't back it up to anywhere near the same degree.
Fair enough, I know for a fact Amir's idol is Hamed...and he is trying to be just like hamed...you can listen to it in the khan interviews, he always mentions Hamed.....Fair Play to Khan if he comes over and becomes a big star....I think they are pushing him to fast....imho ironically, Khan would have been better off carear wise with Warren feasting on people in england....The Golden Boy deal was about the money, and even that is just a 3 fight deal...nothing long term....all fair play to Khan..... I said before khan has a ton of skill, but I am with the crowd that believes he is a KO waiting to happen....Luckily for him, the punchers in this stacked division is not many....Seems only Maidana, Urango, and Alexander would have the power to put him down.... Malignaggi is a tricky opponent for Khan...this will test Khan's ring IQ at this point...At this stage Paulie is the smarter fighter.....Paulie is not going to change his style...he is what he is...the fight will be fought on Malignaggi's terms....This means Khan will have to become a pressure fighter....I'm curious will Khan go back to his natural offensive minded attitude that got him KO'd? or Will he try get Paulie to go on the offensive?....I highly doubt he will let Khan control the pace....Khan is going to have to out-think Paulie to win this fight.....We will see though...
Khan never said a word about wanting to fight Hatton, they are both friends. Interviewers kept asking them and pushing the question but neither fighter said yes they wanted it. However, Roach said he would have Khan fight Hatton if the fight came about. But it won't.
Fair enough. He's honest, sometimes too honest. He's wrong on his reasoning for Pac as he doesn't take into account fight night weight and how much Pac was cutting to get to 126 and 130. Paulie is usually the most outspoken but not the only one who spoke on the subject. He's probably partly doing all boxing talk to drum his name up, but we have to remember that people were asking him questions. Paulie is Paulie and just answers them. And you're wrong, the man would get in the ring with anybody I think. I don't think he's scared of anyone. Thinking he wouldn't get in the ring with Pac like he's some ***** is presumptuous. You act like he's a mouth with no toughness. Guy fight on with a broken orbital bone against Cotto. Very bad. He won the first round against Hatton, but that might have been it. I think him fighting in the pocket with such little power is awful. Hatton isn't a defensive genius but he's a pitbull and he'll get in. For Paulie not to have used his legs in probably the prime of his career was a mistake. I say peak because I think he might be slightly past hit. His legs don't seem as quick. I think he looks better using movement and using that up-jab. He also can't smother, hit, and move against Hatton because Hatton clinches, mauls, and roughs you up. In that non-boxing sense, Paulie had nothing to answer back with. I think he did much much better than most thought he would with Cotto. He didn't win like he promised though. He might be a fighter that's over-confident.
