Yes, to call someone a naughty word is the dictionary definition of "blind hatred"! You General Forum drama queens crack me up.
What seems to get people riled up with paulie is the PED talk....before he even mentioned that, he was beloved by the fans, because of his post-fight speech he gave after the first diaz fight, about corruption in boxing....Then the PED talk comes out of him...and people hate him... Lou Dibella said years ago Paulie is a "love'em or hate'em" type fighter....The thing with the people that attack malignaggi on the PED talk....I find funny, if a guy on the street makes claims that your a drug user, you laugh it off if its not true.....Manny should have done the samething....Instead he got all pissed off and had to fight in COURT instead of letting it go, or taking a drug test that win or lose would almost guarantee him $40 million....he had the bad Public Relations on this one....People who hate Malignaggi just for this is just sad....he is not the only one saying PED talk.... If people want to hate and say, Yeah I don't like his attitude fair enough....but if we hate paulie over the PED talk, then they need to get a grip....
If a guy acts like a ****ing *******, you call him a ****ing *******. Being a tough guy through the media about a guy you'll never fight is ****-poor. Continually shouting through the media all the time about something that has absolutely nothing to do with you is ****-poor. I repeat: if a guy acts like a ****ing *******, you call him a ****ing *******. That's the way it always is, that's the way it always will be, irrespective of whether you bleeding hearts like it or not.
I don't mind the trash talking, but you have to back it up in the ring and losing to Ricky Hatton is not backing it up. Paulie is like the King of the "C" class fighters, you know he can beat juan diaz in a decision but knock anybody out I don't think so. Who was that guy that you first fought in Mike Tyson's Punchout was it Glass Jaw joe or something, thats who Paulie reminds me of.
I would love to see Paulie pull the upset and then sit back and relax, knowing the Brits were crying in their brews across the pond.
While I think Paulie is a respectable opponent, his style is perfect for Khan. He has no power and Khan has more boxing ability, just less experience. Khan is going win a UD easily, but for me this fight proves nothing. Khan has to fight a power punching pressure fighter before I give him credit. Everyone knows he has great skills. But can he hold up against someone with pop for 12 is the real question.
Along with Mayweather-Mosley, Pavlik-Martinez, this is actually a fight I can't wait to see! Khan by UD!
I suppose it will be an exciting fight because Khan is an exciting fighter but I'm not rocking on my chair with anticipation because I only see the fight going one way. Khan is a far superior boxer than Paulie, the only way Paulie can win is by KO and we all know how feather fisted he is. Paulie, like all Khan's recent opponents, is a cleverly hand picked fighter who suits Khan down the ground. The only question is, can Khan finish it inside the distance. If he does, I'll be impressed. I'm sure the haters won't give him props for it if he does though .
Yet he's the one who wanted to finish the fight, It's Buddy who stopped the fight. Even tho Malinaggi was losing by a wide margin on the cards he could've went all twelve to at least prove he can bang with the 140 champ. Your hate is getting in the way of what actually happened. Paulies an ass sure, But to discredit his heart is ridiculous.
People who think that Khan will walk right over Malignaggi dont know jack sh!t. Paulie went the distance with an undefeated Cotto at 140lbs.Cotto was a beast at 140lbs,and Malignaggi took his best shots.Paulie fought most of that fight with a broken jaw.Thats heart in my book. Malignaiggi has a solid chin and the man can box.He may not hit that hard, but he can box and box well. When Paulie fought Hatton,he had Buddy McGirt in his corner.Buddy was training Paulie to be an inside fighter.Malignaggi is a fighter that uses the ring and fights most effectively on the outside.Buddy try'n to train Paulie to fight on the inside goes against everything that Malignaggi is about. That was McGirts strategy for that fight and the worst possible one he could of gave Paulie to fight on the inside, especially against a come forward aggressive style in Hatton. Malignaggi's new trainer knows that Paulie is at his best using the ring.Thats what they will do for the fight with Khan.We will see how Khan can fight against a slick boxer with experience.
