I think Paulie would go into this fight with the same mindset he went into the Hatton fight with

He would believe that Gatti is below him

    Lose the fight

And that proceed to blame it on "not being himself" after the fight, his way of being in denial to the fact that he's a tier below his opponent

Paulie for the most part beats who he is suppose to beat, but loses to anyone that has some talent. He can hype a fight & can bring entertainment to the ring as he has no defense and no power.

Paulie by UD...assuming the judges aren't mobbed up. Thunder's only chance is a late KO and Malignaggi is as tough as they come.

Tough one weve seen Gatti beaten by guys like Robinson and Manfredy but this was not a prime Gatti, prime Gatti was the one with McGirt in his corner who got him back to his boxing skills. I'd favour Malinaggi against Gatti without McGirt. He has the chin to take everything Gatti can throw at him and the jab, skills and work rate to outpoint Gatti.

But the Gatti with McGirt who would box and move between periods where he would revert to his old self is a harder proposition. I'd slightly favour this Gatti but I think it would be a close fight.

I don't know, this is a very intriguing fight. Paulie was the better technical boxer in his prime, had good handspeed and has always had a rock solid chin.

Even though he's featherfisted, if he kept his punch output high, he'd land a lot on Gatti, who was a pretty easy guy to hit clean. But Arturo held more power in his punches and had the heart of a lion, so I'd call it a 50/50 fight. Arturo would probably have to KO him to get the victory because I can't see him outboxing Paulie to a decision.

I think you guys did not see a 90's Gatti. He will stop Paulie 100%.

Malignaggi. Learn to type Italian names. Sure if it was Jose Juan Guadalupe Fernandez De Sanchez you'd be able to type it.

Heart says Gatti. Head says Paulie. Malignaggi would jab, box, move while Gatti wouldn't be able to beat him in the boxing match he'd try to break him down. Not sure if he'd succeed.

Gatti against a guy with faster hands, feet and the ability to take his punch?
    Paulie by UD.

Interesting fight, one which Ive never even thought about.

Id go with a prime Gatti by close decision.
