"**** fight guys..wish I could disagree wit u but FACTS are FACTS n I had a shitty performance. Happily excepting (no accepting ) all criticism.
if he won you back then your extremely gullible, he says it was a **** fight? but he was the one that made it that way, he conned the public into saying he was going to do this and that to ortiz and shock the world, but in reality all he wanted was a pay check and never came to win, don't you see he fooled you and conned you, don't believe his talk
pacquiao can't cut off a ring to save his life, everyone knows this troll, aka mayweather fights and the mosley fight against guys who fought or moved nowhere near as much as malik scott did
It's not like he can say it was anything other than a horrible performance. I don't think anybody expected Scott to stand and trade with Ortiz and knew he'd use a lot of movement. What he did though was embarrassing. He had zero intent of trying to win that fight and simply wanted to last the distance. It's too bad, Scott has talent but he lacks the heart and mindset to be a top heavyweight. I hope he's never on tv again.
A past his prime old Mosley. Prime vs Prime that would've been a great fight. Now about Malik Scott, the actual topic. I don't know what he could do to salvage his reputation. He took everybody for a ride, for a payday and it's sad that there was a path to victory for him if he just had an ounce of toughness. His reflexes ,speed, and footwork was much much faster than Ortiz, it's possible he could've stayed in pocket and pot shotted Ortiz for 12 rounds. Except that he has a glass body, glass chin, glass temple and no mental fortitude, which is pretty significant for a boxer competing at this level. Going forward, his only chance is against fighters that don't have a lot of pop or are old. There's plenty of middle of the road heavyweights he could compete against. He's a gatekeeper at best or journeyman level (like the negative journeyman Nascimento ) from here on out for Scott.
That proves nothing other than that Malik Scott has absolutely no respect for himself. All well and good being honest after stinking the joint out, but where was that honesty before the bout? Scott's got skills for weeks, but he's one of the most apathetic fighters I've ever encountered. At least Kevin Johnson managed to muster some (phony) indignation after a loss. Scott couldn't give a toss.
