Ok points taken Lewis beat a shot Tyson and a Holyfield who lost to Ruiz a year later - Question - who has either brother beaten who can compare to those two names?

Lennox was meant to be fighting Johnson who pulled out two weeks before the fight , Vitali was on the undercard and had been in training for 8 weeks, and came in at his usual 246 - 248? So both had to make changes , no advantage to either fighter.

Lastly the fight finished in the 6th round!!!! not the 12th with V 10 points ahead .

It was a terrible cut and should have maybe been stopped earlier.

Lennox was 37 and had beat every fighter he had fought , and is still talked about today.

Will Vitali be talked about in 8 years time?

    Dont think so.

Vitali was the better fighter that night against Lennox. It is also well known that the cut was illegal because it wasn't caused by a punch. Vitali himself says it was a headbutt, but there's footage showing it was actually Lennox's wrist scraping Vitali's face after a punch.

Mean compared to a shot tyson, danny williams also beat a shot tyson. Tyson/lewis fight was about money, not substance. beating danny williams on vitali part has alot more weight to me.
Holyfield who got a draw an was at the time i think 38.
Fair stoppage, could not agree more, would of i like to see another round, yea, but no question a fair stoppage.
Vitali is almost 40, an pretty much lost maybe two or three rounds sence turning 37, an will fight maybe a year or two more, so i say vitali in time will more then likly get more respect then lewis. vitali yes was training to fight, but still two weeks notice against a lewis who waited i think a week or two before giving vitali the go ahead, that tells me he had alittle more time. An lewis was fighting a much more dangerous fighter in kirk johnson, a in shape one. But still ducking out on 30 million, to avoid a possible loss, in a well warented rematch, SORRY but that is BS. Lewis never would of made it to 40 an still been champ, an he knew it. NOT saying that should be a requirement, but somtimes you owe a boxer a rematch, an this no question was one of those times.:bbb

See this is the problem with all Klitschko fans , completely dillusional. I dont disagree V was better that night , but show me a head butt in any of the six rounds . It was the Lennox right hand that sliced him to pieces.

Anything you say , back it up, I can.

All I need is two names which were better than Tyson and Holyfield that either brother have fought, shot or not?

Both brothers resume's are very average when the level of competition is studied.

Also Lewis was at the end of his career , at a career heavy of 256 , he had done everything in the sport he needed to do, beating V again would not of enhanced that.

Why would he continue to fight ? and dont bring this 30 mill bull , V didnt bring that kind of money then , and doesnt now.

Maybe the single-punch KO power of Wlad is to be ranked higher. Lennox wins hands-down in the devastating combination punching department however.

RayRobinson.... I guess you hold Holmes win over Ali in high regard? What good are "names" when those fighters are shot? I guess that Wlad should fight Holyfield next? That way he has a comparable "name"?

    Your logic is seriously flawed.

Coulndt show an exact like for like as Sanders was out playing golf and Lennox was fighting real boxers.

Come on man , I believe in supporting your country men I really do , but the difference is clear to see by a blind man.

    Wow you are ******ed.

Clearly I should go take a clip of Lewis vs McCall I and then show Wladimir vs Ray Austin to prove my point.

You are quite possibly the worst poster in the history of message boards. Next to Hendo.

Your logic is floored when you compare the brothers to Lennox , neither have fought to anywhere near the same level.

The one time it happend a fat Lennox weighing in at a career heavy still stopped the stronger of the brothers in 6.

If you can name one name on either of the brothers resume's who wouldnt be a' bum of the month' on any champions lists then please tell.

They have fought nobodies , and still been beaten, and sometimes badly.

Ok... I don't hate the Klits at all, but this is just ****ing ridiculous.

Lewis deserves the utmost respect for that victory, and Vitali too for putting up a great fight.

So let's not start making stupid accusations here.
