One of the fun things about Boxing for the Armchair General is tying to spot the cant miss genuine article , destined for the top. of course in Business some heralded Stock flatters to deceive, and listing on the Misery Index subsequently becons. I remember reading about these two undefeated prospects quite some time ago, well they are still undefeated, but are so far under the Radar they seem to be positively sub-terrrainian

Whats the story with these Philly ex-star Amateurs? Disillusioned with the Sport (Business) ? Not willing to commit to the disciplines and training rigors of a professional boxers life ? Nervous Management who are not too confident in their
abilities at the deeper end ? young prospects usually want to take on the best and have to be reigned in. Malik and Rock seem to have problems in simply "Saddling up"

The words "Young" and "Prospect" have a very short shelf Life, they seem to no longer apply to Malik and Rock. - What's the Story Here ?

I saw rock allen during an amateur olympics trial, and was awesome. ****ing huge guy, fought like a demon.

Heard he's a bit chinny though.

Run a search on this site. You'll get some answers.

Seriously, people post more than actually bothering to do the groundwork themselves.

The last i heard of Rock allen was in the mosley mayweather 24/7 series, i think he was helping mosley with sparring. Its not too late for either of these guys to come back though. Never say never
