I like Scott he is one of the more skilled heavyweights in the current division. But he lacks power and was dropped by Chisora who's not a big puncher. I see him doing well early on and out boxing the very raw Wilder until Wilder hit's him with the right hand and then it's over. Would be nice to see Wilder taken into the second half of the fight, we have no idea what his stamina is like.
You know....watching the Chisora fight, you got a feeling that Scott wasnt in it to win it, if you know what I mean. Not saying he threw the fight, but he was hit harder and more precisely by Glaskov, who is clearly a puncher in comparison to DelBoy, and he never so much as flinched. As for the DelBoy fight, I had a feeling he just wasnt trying to win, and was merely looking to keep it close enough to get future fights.:think
Yeah, i know what you mean. Scott seems to have a little "sparring partner mentality" when it comes to fighting rated HWs, which is unfortunate, because I think he has the talent to beat Chisora. Wilder is garbage, but if Scott goes into the fight just trying to survive, he will lose. He has to go at Wlider's fragile whiskers from the opening bell and get that glass jawed joke outa there.
after this fight, one of these guys should be done as a contender. i'm going to guess scott doesn't have the heart to take this one.
Scott doesnt have power but Wilder doesnt have a chin so this could be whoever lands first I see it maybe 60/40 for Wilder because Scott will fear his power but wouldnt be suprised if Scott stopped him
Now this has turned into a WBC mandatory Scott has no chance. Wilder is the cash cow. He'll win in the first few rounds for the "wow" factor setting up a money fight against Stiverne
Wilder don't have the skills man ... A punch yes skills to land it vs Scott I don't think so... He not gonna rush Scott that's not his style ... Scott likes to lay back and box and he will let him
