    forrest,gatti, tarver all good boxers mc girt was allright in paulies eyes until he lost then all of a sudden he became the worst sour grapes come to mind and amir khan would spank his ass

    khan will probably deal with paulie. But out of all the boxers you mention, paulie probably needed the most coaching. Mcgirt tries to change a fighters style for what he feel will be the better, but inveriably ends up devaluing the fighter but coaching them out of their strengths and instincts

    Part of the reason he looks crap is because he doesn't have any say in who his fighters go up against.

    It doesn't take Prof. Hindsight to say that Hatton would hammer him, it was the most confiident I've been on a supposedly even fight, nice odds for a KO at 4/1.

    Roach looks brilliant because he is having a say in the opposition with Pac and Khan etc, McGirt didn't seem to have that authority. That said, Mayweather would have battered Gatti no matter who was in the corner.
