I am not here to defend Peter Oboh but it is frustrating not to get fights after training hard many things for these clowns to pull out.As for Ajose Olusegun we have never pulled out of scheduled contests as we refuse to behave like the others. When we fought Nigel Wright there was hardly any preparation of note but we refused to pull out and won. Against Gary Reid we carried injuries into the fight but we did not ***** about but went in their and gave masterclass. Any aspring kids or amateurs should get the tape and learn. Our conscience is very clear we know those who keep pulling out and refusing contests with us. Sister Witter is still not keen is she nor is Cynthia Lynes or whatever she calls herself.
Fewkes looked far better against Gary Reid than Ajose did, not got anything against Reid, he is a was a good low level battler down at lightweight but he was poor above that weight and no identification of an opponents class. Oboh does not deserve defending, he bottled it fair and square.
I certainly wouldn't call the Gary Reid fight a masterclass. Ajose was more than capable of getting rid of Reid in 3 or 4 rounds but instead ****ed about for 12 rounds against a guy who was levels below him. It was an extremely frustrating display as Ajose had his chance live on Sky to show his potential and build a fanbase and he messed up.
Apologies but I think we were watching different fights. To compare Fewkes with Ajose is like night and day.
A masterclass against Gary Reid? :rofl That should be taken with a pinch of salt even if it did happen, and it didn't. Any number of fighters have done a more impressive job on him. He is a journeyman after all.
The only way to produce a masterclass against Gary Reid is win a couple of 10-8 rounds, knock him down a few times in the third and stop him in the fourth.
Well if Moloney wants to give Olusegun WBC eliminator why not against judah who his coming back down to 140 wouldn't that be a logical thing to do.
John - a little word in your ear....... You don't seem to grasp that the only fights that make sense for our friend Olu are ones in which he has absolutely no chance in hell of losing a round - let alone the fight. Apparently, everybody is ducking him. Witter isn't interested, neither is Lynes. What a load of ****ing bollocks. If I was a fighter and saw a guy like Olusegun at No. 3 in the WBC rankings, I would be on the phone to his promoter like a shot. He hasn't had a meaningful fight in two years, instead padding his record with bums and guys who have been outclassed by guys who Olu has outclassed himself previously :rofl If that is your level of ambition, fine - but the constant bullshitting is annoying. Either man up, or **** off :deal
Thats always been my trouble and being a politics student I should have known its all about the politics, in every sense of the sporting world whether its football or boxing.
He really is a joke - if he is really that good, why wouldn't they stick him in with Zab as you suggest? They must know that he would be KTFO :deal
True, I mean judah at 140 apart from the Koysta fight was a fighter who could box and is left hand would probabaly knock most 140 fighters out. The oNly trouble if judah fought him after four rounds would he get bored like against baldimour and throw it away.
Yeah perhaps - I doubt Olusegun is good enough to sustain four rounds of the left hand, especially the uppercut. Off topic - you battered us at Elland Road this season..... Fancy your chances of going up?
True, I did not want to mention that at elland road but we were good. To be honest it will be out of four teams who will go up automatic, Either, You, Us leicster and scunthorpe.
Very good I thought - I still feel our players play better away, the Leeds fans tend to be like England ones jumping on their backs straight away. I think Scunthorpe will fade, we have Leicester coming up soon - a few of our fans are a bit nervous but I feel we will destroy them. You will finish top, us second.
