Did they never return as planned, in 2015, after Frank's completion of the gender reassignment to become Kellie? Reportedly both Gary Cornish (still then unbeaten) and light welterweight prospect Tony "Blaze" Jones had signed with the stable early in the year and were supposed to co-headline a match in June. Having checked, though, none of their matches in 2015 or since have the Maloney name on them; all different promoters.

Have to wonder, did Kellie face discrimination and stonewalling from within the boys' club of the UK boxing scene? It may well be possible that she just bottled it (as Frank, her previous "retirement" in 2013 had been like her dozenth one, after all, always very capricious) daunted at the idea of starting from scratch, or perhaps with more selflessly magnanimous a motive wanting Cornish & Jones to have a better chance at success by seeking other representation - but one does have to wonder. Shame if there was in fact an earnest attempt to reenter the game, stymied by small-minded fear & hatred.

Of course, it would have been a STEEP uphill climb to reach the heights that Frank Maloney had over the previous three decades. There only ever seems to be room at one given time for 2 superpowers in UK boxing - and while Maloney had once been a part of that major duality, time had passed her by and by 2015 it was very clearly established that Frank W. and newcomer Fast Car Eddie were the only dogs left in the hunt, as far as big-time promoters from Britain with international clout.

I think its best left where it is with him him/her and Boxing. I wouldn't have a problem with him in boxing, but could you imagine the flak he would get at fights and press conferences. Its the wrong game unfortunately for Kellie to start back at imo. I'm actually laughing as I type this at how weird it all is, Frank Maloney has a sex change!!!!!!!! I'm all for people being who they want to be, but of all the people to have a sex change, and to be taken seriously after was always going to be hard !

Frank Maloney is mentally ill, in a very severe way.
I don't think the boxing world and the circus of publicity would be at all helpful for him.
Okay, I know he's always been an attention seeking eccentric that went well beyond boxing promotion, but I don't think it's getting him anywhere in the long run.
At this stage, it's sad and desperate. It's a tragedy. He's a desperately sad human being inside and that's a horrible thought when you consider how much "success" he's had in his life.
I feel sorry for him and his family.

Always an oddball, I don't think Maloney was ever the same after the Darren Sutherland tragedy. That was almost inexplicable in itself. I think Maloney went from slightly mad to full-on unhinged with that incident. That would have shook even the most head-strong person up a bit. With a fragile ego of Maloney's type, it was devastating. The fall of David Price was inevitable. Maloney should have been out of boxing long before then.

someone like him should have been retired with millions but it seems he lost his money on big pricey from the way he was crying after he lost.

the curse of big pricey is real.
