    Makes sense for Sutherland really. He'll get plenty of fights in Ireland and the chance to win soem British fans too.

    As for appealing to Americans, there's always the chance that the odd ethnic-nationalist sentiments of Irish Americans may have meant that they wouldn't take to a mixed race Irish lad.
