What the **** man, I can't believe Arum's greedy ass is going to still the fans out of this great match up.

This fight could have set up so many big fights regardless of the winner, Cotto beat Martinez and **** all of a sudden hes back with the top dogs, and if Martinez beats Cotto then **** he becomes a bigger star and draw than he already is.

Instead we are going to see Cotto vs Margarito.... WHO THE **** WANTS TO SEE THAT **** !

Its even a stupid move for Arum because if Margarito beats Cotto again then what was the whole point of the fight ? he already beat him before.... and in the other hand if Cotto beats Margarito it will only make the speculations that he had plaster in his hand the first time they fought even more clear.

Man this is bull****, just when I was praising all the personalities of boxing for doing such a tremendous job lately comes Arum and pulls this ****, he needs to retire.

i have no problem with Margarito vs. Cotto II. Did you see their first fight? Was excellent! That's what I care about, good fights being made. I don't care if they are in house, or out house. Good fights are all that matter.

I actually wouldn't mind either opponent for Cotto - I want him to avenge his defeat to Margarito.

But Arum really pisses me off.

I don't know, I really don't even know if Cotto should be at 154.

Margarito vs Cotto II is a better fight than Martinez vs Cotto.

Martinez would wipe Cotto out easily, it wouldn't even be close. Martinez weighed 167 when he took the middleweight title from 6ft+, 178lbs Kelly Pavlik, and he probably was about the same when he knocked out 6ft+ Paul Williams.

Cotto is small even at lightmiddle (in fact, he was the smaller man at welter vs Margarito, Mosley and even Clottey).

The size difference would be too much in that fight.

That's how I see it. Martinez Cotto is a mismatch to me, as much as I like Cotto. There is going to be a ton of buzz and excitement with cotto/margo II.

Margarito and Martinez are damn near identical in size. Margarito stands 1 inch taller than Sergio, while Sergio came in the ring at 168 against Williams last month, only 3 pounds more than Margarito came in for Pacquiao.

Cotto - Margarito II is fine. The scary part is that the winner will fight Pac next. Bob's tactics are so transparent.

Margarito can weigh in at 150 pounds with ease, while Martinez is weighing in at near 160lbs. Martinez has proven he has the speed, strength and chin to fight someone the size of Pavlik, Margarito was blown away by guys who are too small to be effective at 154 (Mosley, Pacquiao).

Trust me, if Martinez fought Cotto he would be too big, too strong, too fast and too powerful. It would not be a close fight.

I'd back Cotto to beat Margo in a rematch.

I agree, I'm fine with this fight not happening.

Cotto Vs. Margarito II is the ticket.

margarito is garbage , has been destroyed lately , and gets a title shot , what a joke , ill beglad when arum uses up all his fighters on eachother , gb has the young talent anyways

  14. I'd rather watch Cotto-Margarito II. Here's why:

    There's the revenge angle.

Then there's the whole debate whether Margarito was loaded when he beat the **** out of Cotto.

Then there's the highly intriguing premise of Margarito stalking Cotto relentlessly for 12 rounds. Margarito's hands down the bravest ****er in boxing.
