It doesn't necessarily work like that bud. I doubt your kids will have it. I have vitiligo, although it is very minimal, you wouldn't notice it unless I pointed it out directly. But from what I can see no one in my family has it but me. I think I met one distant cousin that has it, but that is it. To be honest there is a gene present in about 40% of the population of the world that has the potential to develop vitligo... it triggers based off of some type of physical trauma to the body... mines was triggered back when I was 5-4 years old when I got the chicken pocks. Others for different reasons, such as extreme stress, or what have you.

It's a weird ass condition to be honest, but there are treatments which can make it better. When I was younger I went, but had to stop as they can be expensive. I may go again though because they have a new type of treatment that is space ages away from what I was doing as a kid.
