So, that DelaHoya could still have 2 cash-cows (Floyd, and Canelo).

Even Haymon paid-off Canelo, and extra $5 million, to let Floyd win.

Martinez was handicapped with 1-leg.

Canelo is solid, and Cotto is scared to fight Canelo, which is why Cotto keeps avoiding Canelo, despite Canelo calling him out many times.

Cotto-Margirito II was FIXED FIGHT.
Margarito missed on purpose cause he was bribed to lose, and gets a payday & keeps his license.

Cotto is overrated and has fought easy fights 1-legged Martinez, 1-legged Yuri Foreman, almost got KO'd by Ricardo Torres & Zab Judah, so Cotto cheated his way out with low blows. Cheater-Cotto.

Just like Cheato-Tito cheated his way out with low blow against Fernando Vargas, and Tito had illegal loaded gloves.

Oscar had agreed to move off May 2 if May-Pac happened. Canelo agreed to lesser split, and Cotto's choice of venue. This was the 2nd biggest fight that could be made after May-Pac.

Sad that a diva like Cotto is able to clog up the 160 BHop lineage but it is what it is. One can only hope that in a fit of madness, he signs to face GGG. Of course everyone knows that will never happen.

Only silver lining, is Canelo fighting a name like Kirkland on May 2nd is going to murder Floyd-Cotto PPV numbers.

 

Fight canelo who does 0 for legacy and less money OR fight mayweather for more $ and legacy if he wins

 

Actually with Floyds huge guarantees.. there pretty much no chance Cotto makes more money fighting Floyd than he does Canelo.

The proverbial "Floyd lottery" is only for people who have no hope of making 7 figures otherwise. Cotto would have made 8 figures fighting Canelo, almost certainly only 7 for fighting Floyd again.

 

Not only is Cotto ducking Canelo.
