I cant see him winning because it would just be unreal that 3 Brits all win Huge fights within a couple of months of each other. That just dont happen.
I agree, this fight may go down to Floyd reaching deep and Hatton imposing his will. Floyd has never fought a guy on top of his game like Hatton, Delahoya came out of his shell for a payday but did not want to win like Hatton. I see the fight very close but its really up to Ricky and his corner
Everything in this fight makes me think that Mayweather will outbox Hatton. But Hatton broke Castillo's ribs. He could land a good punch and **** up Mayweather's body, or his hand. This creates doubts.
I understand what your saying 100% but when boxing is second nature and you have a man coming in the ring to do damage to you all of the bull**** goes out ot he window. He'll dig deep he's been a champion for years over different weight classes I don't think he could ever forget what got him to the dance that's why even though he wants to give it up he still goes hard. The only thing Ricky Hatton and the media has done is pissed of a boxing genius everybody pressures Floyd Mayweather because no one would dare attempted to outbox him. Just another night at the office for Floyd!
Lol at this dude trying to "boost up" the Vicky fans confidence , i don't believe a damn word you said about being around Floyd, it's a well known fact that he's always been very private when it comes to his boxing, i can't wait for Floyd to show the world exactly why he's pound for pound number one tonight!!.
Absolutely spot on my friend!!.. when Floyd stands in the middle of the ring tonight will Vicky attemp to box him?.. not a chance!!.. , but oh well he thinks the "club fighting" tactics will prevail!!. :nut
The eye of the tiger as they say, definitely belongs to Hatton. I've said all a long that Hatton will push Floyd hard and feel confident in that assesment:good If floyd wins? Expect a close decision, I'm feeling more and more that Hatton will do it:good
Well done your brain is finally clicking into gear.As much as you want to support your boy Ricky does NOTHING that Floyd cant deal with in devastating.Be prepared to witness a boxing clinic as Floyd cruises to a late TKO with Billy jumping in to save his kid.
I would have liked to see Rick win but i gotta be real, Floyd has everything working in his favor, he's naturally the bigger man better suited for that weight class, he's faster, more athletic and will HAVE A 10 INCH REACH ADVANTAGE! fighting in his backyard in his home country! FLOYD UD:deal
i'll just be happy if he makes this fight competitive and doesn't stop giving 100% for the duration of the fight. if he somehow manages to pull off the win however you'll probably find me walking around dazed with a stupid grin on my face for the next week.
I think Hatton will be able to make the first few rounds interesting, the clinic will start around rd5.
I'm going with Hatton by late stoppage. The last time I heard Mayweather talk pretty much did it for me. He doesn't wanna do it anymore and he talks about injuries, retiring, etc. The one fight he could get away with that attitude is with an also semi-retired 35 year old Oscar. He cannot face Hatton with that attitude. All it will take is one solid hook to the body and we could be seeing Mayweather on the canvas. Yes I do think Cortez will disallow the holding. That said Hatton will still lunge forward with fast punches, crowd Mayweather, keep him backing up and keep him eating punches. I keep reading about how easy Hatton is to hit, and how it'll look like the Gatti fight. Listen, I've watched alot of Hatton fights and yes he is vunerable at times, but nowhere near what Gatti was. Hatton knows how to take the steam off of punches and how to crowd a guy so he can't get his best work in. Gatti never understood that. I can see this fight coming apart as Hatton's drive overtakes Mayweather's. Mayweather if he doesn't hurt Hatton will find himself on the backfoot very early and will be pushed around the ring. Taking body shots all the way. Hatton is small enough and fast enough to get under Mayweather's guard where guys like Oscar couldn't. I'm not thinking that Mayweather can really hurt Hatton. So I'll leave my prediction there. Hatton by TKO late.
