Yeah, he was a much better champion than his pansy ass brother. The beating he put on Kirk Johnson was probaly the best performance he had. He was a lot more fighter than his brother is.

  3. Forget it Vitali will never be respected for what he was he just won't.

Just wait until he absolutely obliteratesPeter - which he will 0 I'm going to be pissing myself with laughter! he's gonna cream that overweight McDonalds munching fraud!

Always fun to watch, it was sad to see him leave that soon, but injuries play a major role in the sport, it forced Marciano to retire.

Man, I have rarely heard a room scream "DAAYYYYMMNNNN!!!!!!" as loud as moment Vitali got hit with that uppercut by Lewis.

I remember Merchant once saying during the Holyfield-Cooper fight that "sometimes when at the highest echelon of the sport, a fighter will become galvanized to the best of his abilities"...I really think Vitali was going to walk through anything that night.

I miss him alot; I was actually pretty damn sad when he announced his retirement for the first time around. Now it's 4 years later and I'll be stoked if this Peter fight actually pans out and he gives a decent showing. He always brought it, and had that mean streak Wlad could never possess. You would never see Vitali jab and crab for a boring victory. He came out to knock your lights out. Mean SOB in the ring
