i was expecting something "great" when i watched the fight tonight. Can't even beat a washed up Monte Barrett  In fact, he got his butt kicked in there, and everyone saw it except the 3 judges.

Also, What about that unbreakable godly like David Tua chin?

Tua would never beat any ATG heavyweights.

    I like Tua too.

That was the biggest dud fight ive ever seen. Tua was a chump, couldnt even land cleanly on that corpse. Hilarious decision. Retirement?...

Tua fans will say he was robbed, past prime, had an off night, and would still decapitate everyone who stood and traded with him, so nothing really changes. An equally past prime Barrett stood up to him, though I wanna wait until I can see the whole fight before I go as far as saying Tua was exposed.

Tua's like the Rock of Gibraltar. Unique, but nothing other then that.

Suzie, this thread is pretty bogus. It's like swooping in after Ayala/Campas with the same ****...except I would've enjoyed the Ayala/Campas thread because he's a piece of ****, but you know what I mean.

Hell, I passed on "Tua-Barrett," but we all know / knew Tua is well "past it" in terms of youthful skills at age 37.... Tua managed to scrape by Barrett tonight........ WOW!

All Tua ever truly owned was a powerful hook and a solid jaw...

And, at age 37, that is slipping...... Still, go ahead, let's grant Tua a shot at the K-bros....

Tua's shot , anyone that doesnt realise that one has to seriously question their knowledge, even without looking at the fight, just looking at Tua's record against better than an over hill Monte Barrett.

Big props to Monte, he hung tough as he does, especially in his retirement fight, but a younger Tua would have had someone that slow and sloppy out of there.

Just admit Tua's always been slightly overrated and easy to outbox. Come on, it won't hurt. I like Tua, and although this thread doesn't discredit him but reaffirms what everyone already knew.

BS, hes 38 years old and shot, period.

You dont lose to a shot Monte Barrett and knock out the guys he has in the past, that should be pretty elementary even to someone who hasnt seen the fight, as I did.

I'm not saying a prime Tua doesn't KO 1-2 Barrett, I'm just saying he was never that great. His best showing is being competitive against Ike.

Even though he can punch he shouldn't be favored against someone like Frazier as the TS mentioned.

Does everybody agree with me now that he is not going to beat anybody in the top 10?
