yeah i miss the days of tszyu fighting sharba mitchell 2 times, and james leija...and otkay urrakal....and fighting one time ever 18 months..... ah the good old days....

i means the 1990s version of evander holyfield...i miss the mercer and morrison on espn every 3 weeks....and most of all USA Tuesday night fights!!

I miss Kostya, the old Roy, Tito, Fernando, Mike, Erik, and others.

i miss corrales ..i miss when fights were a big deal .. margarito and cotto is the only fight i've been able to get up for all year .. i miss those days where you'd go tell everyone whose anyone .."aye man you know so and so is fighting so and so this weekend it's gonna be huge!" .. cotto and margo was the only fight i could do that for this year ..but around 2000 .. it was alot more frenquent

 

MORALES!! He just had charisma and was one of those rare fighters that always cared about his fans a lot.
His career would have been much longer had he used his great boxing skills instead of brawling like he tend to do.
But then again he wouldn't have been as great.

 

morales is just one of them dudes .. i mean sure he would have gotton a few more fights out if he woulda boxed and used skills ..but i mean he had 40 something fights anyhow ..and thats loads of brawls now adays..i'm sure we got about all we could out of him either way ... yeah his skills coulda got him a few more fights but how many fights was he getting the worst end of the stick of ..only to pull it out useing that nose first brawl style he had

 

Yeah, the Vazquez-Marquez trilogy sucked because I couldn't chat up every Tom Dick and Harry at the post office about it. :roll:

 

na man i didnt mean it like that .. i'm just saying at one time in the not to distant past fights were a big deal ...they aren't anymore to your average sports fan
