Man I'm going to miss Alexander Povetkin when he hangs the gloves up

Funny part of it is that the idea of power-punching Povetkin came rather late. Early in his career people argued that he was feather-fisted. I argued that he was stuck in amateur mode, throwing pitty-pat ****, and that he could hit harder if he practiced it. I think time proved that I was right, but it is just funny how some fighters like Povetkin and Marquez do indeed hit harder, despite the idea that you wither have a punch or you don't.

Let's not say goodbye yet. I have a feeling Povetkin will be fighting for the Super-cruiser title.

 

Yeah, one of those fighters you personally think he deserved to be beltholder, yet only had the minor important belt. Still, reputation says he's far above other beltholders like stiverne or charles martin. But what can he do... His fight against Klitschko was too early and against Joshua too late.

Would have enjoyed to see Povetkin pulverising that puny Usyk that's for sure.
