I don't normally make threads but man this burns. Just watching Taylor slumped in the canvas made me sorta sick. I would've rather Taylor lose a wide decision than go out like that. My next favorite fighter to fight is Vernon Forrest. All I can do is hope he wins.

:| Yeah it might be good to take some time off this thread for a while. At least we wont have to read any of Amsterdam bull**** post. And we are now going to get a influx of newbie Plavlik nuthuggers who will make life miserable.

JT didn't do anything really wrong its just JT style of fighting keeping his left hand down is just not a good matchup for him.

I expect this to happen. I am surprised Taylor took as many punches as he did , and made it to the 7th round. Taylor has fought every weak punching, smaller fighter he possibly find, it seemed like his managers were protecting his chin . ****, Taylor was even being out jabbed and out boxed by pavlik.

I agree. He would keep backing up to the ropes like an idiot. The problem with Taylor, and it actually had me screaming at the screen, is that he's not aggressive enough.

True enough. But right now, I feel pretty bad.

True, you should be very pround of him. He went in like warrior, and sometimes you lose like a warrior. He'll be back.

I appreciate the honesty. It does burn.

If he is one of your favorite fighters, don't drop him for this fight.

Just don't blame the best trainer in the business like these fools on the forum. They all think they know better than Manny. Pathetic. And don't bash him for backing up or throwing less. Jermain was the one taking those power shots not his "fan's" who apparently also know how to fight much better than he does. Jermain will be back and the rematch will be huge. When was the last time there was a war like that for the "undisputed" Middleweight Title?

Well i remember when Taylor was an up and coming fighter on espn2 and how exciting he used to be, and i was happy for him when he got the decision against Hopkins because it signalled a new dawn, since then i haven't been bothered with him, i ride for Mayweather, Guzman and Williams mostly so i don't have many dissapointing nights like this man lol!!, but for some reason this one leaves a bitter taste, i didn't like the way the ref delayed the action when Pavlik got knocked down!!, that was kinda fishy, if Taylor lost to a technical genius who was just better than him then fair enough but he lost because he was not agressive enough and he kept backing off while leaving that damn left hand down!!.. it was just ****ing stupidness from Jermain.

I like Taylor alot. Awesome fight and ever better gentleman.

But I wanted him to lose becuase I feel Pavlik would be a better champion. More of a 'worker' mentality.

I felt sick when Morales lost the rematch to PAC.
