This is more along the lines of what I was expecting.

I was not prepared for Juan Manuel Mayorga.:lol:

I said it from the day this fight was proposed, and most just laughed it off.......

Marquez has a hunger in him that Mayweather has no clue about or ever experienced.......A hunger that comes from being disrespected and written off......

That hunger just may equalize the fact that Mayweather is naturally the bigger fighter.

Here's hoping we get to see a fight that will be talked about for years to come!:good

That is what happens when great fighters chose to fight smaller fighters when there are several fighters at his own weight class that Mayweather would get great credit for.........

......having said that, Marquez is fully capable for pulling the upset, which is imo the reason that Mayweather should have not taken this fight.
Most people are not going to give him the credit if he wins.

I for one need to see the fight......
If say JMM looks good early to mid, and then tires late in the fight.......thats something that would be uncharacteristic of him, and yes could be the confines to attribute it to the weight he gained.......

Now, the issue would be different say JMM had a couple of fights under him at the contracted weight and looked not to be effected.......but that is'nt the case, he's putting on 9 lbs to fight the best p4p fighter in the world.
If JMM just puts on a good performance, even in a losing effort, its a win win situation for him........and if he wins which imo is very much possible.......oh man, we're talking about the greatest win in Mexican boxing history!
